The Buttercup Collection

Sometimes you get exactly what you need in life.  That's how I feel about this Buttercup Collection.  It's been months since I've made a collection that was my own.  Lately, I've been producing a lot of fossils, but they came with deadlines, contracts, commissions, etc.  This collection just kinda happened, and I've truly fallen back in love with what I do.  It started this past weekend.  The hubby and I took our weekly car ride to Pastorius Park in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia.  We take our dog there so that she can run off leash.  As soon as we arrived all I could see was gold.  There were buttercup flowers everywhere.  We've been coming here for years so I knew it wouldn't be long before the mowers would come along and cut down the grass.  I felt that urge again.  That feeling that I wanted to save them, so I gathered a handful of stems and did what I love.  I gave them a new life.
